Spiced, Ep 5, Season 6:

SPICED: A Night of Stories to Savor | December 5th at 7 PM Pacific

As the air grows crisp, and the holidays fa-la-la-along, Studio Luna invites you to close out 2024 with Spiced, a storytelling night that blends the bold, the sweet, and the unapologetically seasoned. This is for those craving an evening infused with history, warmth, and where the familiar meets the unknown. Luna has called forth the holiday season’s glow to add an extra flurry of magic to the mix.

On December 5th, step into the studio where our little elves have made sure the air is filled with the scent of our hot cocoa and champurrado bar. Our merry (or maybe not so merry and bright, IYKYK) storytellers gift you real stories from their lives inspired by the theme: Spiced. Our Storytellers, Sofia Hurtado, Aura Meza, and Rosa Lisbeth Navarrete are drumming up stories that are layered and complex like cardamom, warming like cinnamon, and tingle-inducing like peppermint. So, no matter how you take your spice, the resonance of truth will linger long after we all sleigh home. Like the grinch, something potent will undeniably grow three sizes within you.

This night is a celebration of our complexity, our contradictions, and the wisdom learned throughout the year. There is always power in savoring someone else’s truth—especially in a world that tries to dull all of our edges. Spiced will leave you full, stirred, and ready to carry a bit of its warmth into the new year.

Tickets are $25 and include our MainStage stories and a whole lotta of Luna.

What you get:

  • Original stories told live by a curated roster of BIWOC short storytellers.
  • Opportunity to interact with games, micro stories, and more throughout the evening!
  • A Seat For The Show!
  • Access to Cash/Card Hot Cocoa Station & Night Market
